Jesy Nelson out of Little Mix: The Search final
The 29-year-old will not appear alongside her bandmates on tonight’s final of the talent search competition, as she is unwell. A rep for the band said: ‘Jesy is unwell and will not be appearing on tonight’s final of Little Mix The Search.’ Her illness means she will also not be presenting the EMAs with Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards on Sunday night, with the rep adding: ‘She will also not be hosting or performing at tomorrow’s MTV EMAs.’
Fans missed two large-scale shows on social media to express their frustration with Jassi, but wished him a speedy recovery and sent messages of support. Little Mix also acknowledged the news in a tweet: ‘Can you believe tonight’s @ @ LMTheSearch finale !! We are incredibly proud of all 6 bands and we can’t wait to see the last 4 performances.
“We are very sad that Jesse will not be able to join us tonight, but we have an amazing show for all of you.” Boris Johnson’s lockdown speech caused him to step down last week. The star had set up Little Mix’s successful films with her band mat to open the show. However, last night a promotional video was shared on social media in support of Little Mix’s new album Confetti, which raised concerns.
