Stretch your diaphragm 

Make your diaphragm stretch. It’s a more effective and quick way to get rid of hiccups. Stretching the diaphragm prevents the spasms from continuing. Hold your breath a little and raise your head while watching the sky perform this trick. Keep stretching your neck and keep this position for 20 seconds. 

If it doesn’t work, do it again and again 2 to 3 times. And you wondered how this remedy gives you comfort.

Change your breath rhythm.

Changing the rhythm of your breathing is also a traditional way of removing hiccups. Breathe your mouth in and out continuously, and always do this trick while sitting so that you may feel dizzy while doing this. And don’t do this exercise for more than one minute. 

Increase in carbon dioxide level

Increase your carbon dioxide level in blood by breathing in a paper bag. It’s a more effective way to stop hiccups.

It’s a very simple way to stop hiccups. You have to cover your mouth and nose with a paper bag, start breathing and keep pressing the paper bag so no air can enter it. Do it 4 to 5 times, and don’t do it for a long time.

Drink a glass of cold water

One of the simplest tricks is drinking a glass of cold water that helps the diaphragm muscle decongest. You have to drink a glass of water at once,  without breathing. 

Laugh more

Laughing is the excellent treatment of all problems, sudden change in breathing by laughing disappear hiccups. So forget your stress and laugh more.

Take lemon juice

Squeeze lemon juice in a tablespoon and drink it. Do it 2 to 3 times. Change in taste buds makes a distraction in the body, and thus you stop your hic sound.

This situation does not usually last for too long. It is common for it to last about 10 or 30 minutes and, then, it will go away without causing any discomfort or discomfort.
